On the Friday evening my boyfriend Darren took me to the gorgeous restaurant 1884 Dock Street Kitchen in Hull. It was incredible! To start off with I just love getting dressed up, and this was a perfect excuse to get all dolled up!
The food was out of this world, and of course I certainly didn't skip on dessert.
On the Saturday, all of my family came round for a meal, which I cooked. I must say I don't think I have ever been so stressed, this was my first dinner party I was in charge of and I am a bit of a perfectionist..but it was a success! (Thank goodness)
It was a wonderful evening, I got loads of fab pressies! The present I am enjoying the most at the moment is my 'Game of Thrones Colouring Book'
My mum, the amazing baker, made me a gorgeous birthday cake and some adorable cupcakes to go with it..can you tell what the theme is? I'll give you a couple of clues, it's my favourite movie of all time. 'There's no place like home' Did you get it? If you didn't..we can't be friends.
So overall I had one heck of a birthday! I am so blessed to have such amazing friends and family. I am one lucky girl! xx
